Icy roads in some areas mean that the bus to Les Quennevais School will not be runnning and parents will need to organise alternative transport. All other school buses will operate as normal and a full bus service is expected to be operating this afternoon.
Work has being going on since the early hours to clear the Airport runway and it is hoped that it will reopen at 9 am. However, flight delays and cancellations of some services during the day are likely. The 5.30 am bus service to the Airport operated as usual.
Gatwick Airport reopened early this morning, although passengers are being warned to expect delays.
