The vast majority of the 180 jobs at the La Motte Street company are safe and it will be business as usual in Jersey, according to group chairman Steve Wrigglesworth.
The firm has been sold to top-ten independent Giles Insurance Brokers Ltd, which has more than 1,100 employees based in 40 offices across the UK.
However, Rossborough Financial Services Ltd is not part of the deal and continues to be owned by seven local shareholders.
