It looked as though the scheme, which has reduced late-night crime and disorder at the taxi queues by 64 per cent over the last two years, would have to withdraw its Friday-night service because a major sponsor pulled out.
But Grafters has stepped in and pledged the funds required to keep the scheme running on Friday nights throughout November.
