The States have applied for planning permission to build the flats and homes in a field at Belle Vue, next to the St Brelade Social Club and the cemetery.

More than half of the planned homes would be social rented housing for the Housing Department, with the remaining 24 being two-bedroom houses for private sale designed for people scaling down. All are for people aged 55 and above.

The social rented homes would be two-bedroom flats in two- or three-storey blocks, with 1.25 parking spaces each. The private houses would each be allocated with two spaces.
