The team, made up of Jersey’s Campbell Dickson, Ed Voision and Lulu Watson as well as five Guernsey shooters, is coached by Old Victorians David Le Quesne and Bruce Horwood with help from Alex Langley and Daniel Richardson.
Meanwhile, the Jersey Rifle Association team are also competing all this week in Surrey lost out to the Great Britain Barbarians by just five points in their match at the National Shooting Centre on Thursday.
Shooting at distances of 900 and 1,000 yards, the home team edged the match by the slightest of margins.
Jersey got off to a good start and despite a miss to count at 900 yards recovered well to amass a total score of 749.59 to Barbarians’ 754.70. Daniel Richardson was the top Jersey scorer with 98.08.
