Lecq CSC ready to host international

The Lecq Clay Shooting Club, based at Lecq Farm, St Ouen, will host the 44th Home Countries International competition on 12-13 September with over 150 competitors from England, Ireland, Wales, Guernsey and the Isle of Man due to take part.

The annual competition has been held in the Island before and usually comes around for venues every nine or ten years. But it is the first time the Lecq Clay Shooting Club has hosted the event.

Over the last two or three years the club has undergone an extensive £60,000 refurbishment and according to owner, Jack Hamby, the improved facilities are the main reason the club has been chosen for the event.

The Home Countries competition will be held on Saturday 12 September at Lecq Clay Shooting Club, with an Open competition – in which anyone can take part – the next day.
