DESPITE launching in the middle of a world recession a new fish and chip shop is taking the west of the Island by storm.
Opened by two friends from Manchester who live in St Brelade, The Chippy has queues out of the door each evening.
After doing some research in the area, and after the closure of a Chinese restaurant at Les Quennevais, the friends realised there was a gap in the market for a fish and chip shop in the west.
Paul Little, who works as a plasterer by day, owns the take away with fellow Mancunian Eddie Appleyard.
