ST SAVIOUR tennis ace Scott Clayton has set his sights on representing Great Britain in the Junior Davis Cup after recently enjoying some one-on-one tuition from the great Bjorn Borg.

The 14-year-old went on an HSBC Sporting Exchange in China, where under the guidance of 11-time Grand Slam winner, Borg, he tested himself against equally promising youngsters from the Shanghai area.

And after returning from the Far East, the Millfield School pupil – who represented England at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune – is aiming high with a place in the GB squad for an event that helped launch the careers of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer at the top of his agenda.

‘Bjorn Borg was brilliant and ended up giving me an individual tutorial on my game,’ said Clayton, who tried his hand at Tai Chi, attended a local school and tasted jellyfish as part of the cultural experience. My best surface is grass and it was fantastic to get tips on my net play from Borg because he won Wimbledon five times in a row.’
