FEMI ‘Fire’ Fehintola is ‘200 per cent’ ready to take out challenger Ryan Barett at the Hotel De France on Saturday night.

Fehintola wants world domination and says he will not surrender his English super featherweight title to Barett, who is the current British Masters featherweight champion.

The Bradford-born 26-year-old says that when he wins tomorrow’s bout – one of the biggest of his career – he plans to challenge for the British title. He says: ‘I want to be the British champion, and I want to be a world champion. I’ll fight whoever gets put in front of me. If they’ve got something I want I’ll take it off them. To be world champion is my biggest ambition. I’ve got the best team in the world around me and I’ll fight whoever they put me in the ring with.’

Fehintola, whose bout against Barett is top billing at Dennis Hobson’s Fight Academy grand gala dinner at the Hotel de France, last fought and beat Jon Baguley at the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield in March.
