STUDENTS from Jersey College for Girls and Victoria College put their glad-rags on last weekend to mark the end of their GCSEs.

The 170 young people celebrated in style at the L’Horizon Hotel. During the evening, they enjoyed a three-course meal and music from a DJ, and Tess Coleback was crowned as the year-groups Prom Queen.

JCG’s head of Year 11 Ros Cleave said students turned up to the event in a range of vehicles including limousines and even a vintage bus.

‘It was a fantastic evening,’ she said. ‘The students were all really well behaved and it was a really big success.’
