The Les Quennevais School teenager received the award at JASA’s recent annual general meeting following her performances in winning one silver and two bronze medals at the Jeux des Iles in Corsica last May.

JASA official Gail Le Clercq, who was re-elected unopposed as president, said: ‘Kerrie had an excellent Jeux des Iles therefore she is a worthy recipient of the award. It seems a long time ago now but the event does fall into our calendar year.
