Isla the cow is now recovering well after getting her head stuck between a trailer chassis and water cart on Friday.
Her owner, Posy Biles, said today that she was ‘back in the field with her friends’ as if nothing had happened.
Mrs Biles is the owner of the Jersey donkey home at Les Sillettes Farm, Mont Cochon.
When she brought in her 22 cows for milking at about 7 pm on Friday, Isla was found stuck at the water tank.
Mrs Biles called the Fire and Rescue Service and six firefighters were quickly at the scene.
