Michael Gafoor spoke out after the inquest into the death of 17-year-old Noparit Ngorkkhoksoong.
The hearing concluded yesterday that Mr Ngorkkhoksoong had hanged himself in the bedroom of the flat he shared with his stepfather, Mark Weeks, in Commercial Buildings, on 2 November.
Mr Weeks told the court that in the period before his stepson’s death, he had become increasingly concerned about the teenager’s behaviour.
