Mr Kulon, who has worked in Jersey for six years and was previously employed at Bistro Soleil, won first prize in the Four Seasons Health Care competition which included 350 of the firm’s care homes across Britain. The runners-up were from Northern Ireland and Kent.
Their task was to create a meal for 20 clients on a given budget and chefs were assessed against others in their region, with winners going forward to the final cook-off.
