PC Jayson Lee (37) punched his dog Rico in the nose and squeezed the animal’s testicles during a training session in the grounds of St Ouen’s Manor last October.
The experienced officer, who was fined £400, also used the lead to strike the dog during a training session at the Scout hut headquarters in St Ouen in March.
But after a two-day trial in the Magistrate’s Court, which finished yesterday afternoon, PC Lee was found not guilty of punching the dog while in the grounds of the former Pontins site, St Ouen, after the dog bit him.
