Stan Deeley (65) was jailed for nine months after admitting an indecent assault on a the teenager earlier this year.
During the 1970s and 1980s, Deeley, of Valley Road, St Helier, coached the Island boys’ side and was a junior coach at Magpies Football Club.
He appeared yesterday in the Magistrate’s Court after pleading guilty to indecently assaulting the boy after inviting him to his home for cider and pizza.
