The report, expected in April, will set out the best role and position for the finance industry in the future, and the challenges it will face over the next few years. Three students will carry out the review under the direction of senior faculty members of the London Business School, ranked as one of the top business schools in the world. The MBA (Master of Business Administration) students are graduates with experience working in finance. Jersey’s finance industry is leading the Island’s economic boom – 2006 profits were up a quarter and record bank deposits and funds are under administration. Jersey Finance chief executive Geoff Cook said that now was a good time to commission the review.
