Mr Hanning was elected unopposed at a parish meeting last night where he vowed to continue the work of retiring Constable Phil Ozouf. He spoke of his faith in the honorary system, willingness to listen to the people of St Saviour and hope that he can help them solve their problems. Speaking after his election, Mr Hanning said that although he was not opposed he hoped parishioners would still come to him with their ideas and concerns.
