The 249-space car park was approved by Environment Minister Freddie Cohen on Friday, and work will start on the site next month. There was already an existing planning consent for this car park granted some years ago but the applicant – A A Pitcher Ltd – applied for an additional floor. Senator Cohen said that the application for an extra floor allowed him to make improvements to the appearance of the building.
