We are celebrating 25 years of business since our birth in the islands by donating £25,000 to the Environment department for the restoration of Le Câtel de Lecq.
It is a fabulous site in a very beautiful part of Jersey.
‘Watching the conservation project unfold over the next three years should be very exciting as different species of plant, insect and animal life return to the site.
Câtel de Lecq is a defensive earthwork, with at least three periods of construction.
Traces of terracing around the hill are evident as well as some interesting bank and ditch systems, but the site is currently very overgrown, so the terracing and ditching are not obvious.
