Tourism website plea

Islanders are being asked to post events they know about on a new website and give festivals and other events a mark out of ten. A new web directory has been launched at www.jersey.com. It is being used to promote events to visitors and Islanders alike. Marketing manager Donna Le Marrec said that the site listed all events, festivals and sporting competitions happening in the Island. She said: ‘The website www.jersey.com/ events is an easy-to-use and consumer-focused system which provides up-to-date event information at the press of a button.’
