Axle Woman, Axle Man and the newly rebranded Men’s Club have been redesigned at an undisclosed but ‘substantial’ cost.
The exercise has involved shuffling the locations of the men’s and women’s lines – the store on the corner of Beresford Street and Bath Street which sold men’s and women’s fashions is now Axle Woman, complete with chandeliers, while the Halkett Street shop, formerly exclusively women’s wear, becomes Axle Man.
This now features a plasma TV screening sporting events and a football table where customers will be offered a beer while they choose their latest attire.
Men’s Club in Halkett Place, which became Axle Man two years ago, now reverts to its previous name.
Axle Woman opened last month while Axle Man opened last Wednesday.
Men’s Club has remained open during the refurbishment.
