The carrier, which will start a daily service to and from Luton from 2 May, is increasing the number of seats on its Jersey flights by over 50 per cent this summer. It estimates that it has brought 230,000 visitors to Jersey since it began flying between the Island and Coventry three years ago and that those visitors have spent over £70m in the Island. The Luton-based airline expects to bring an extra 90,000 visitors this year with its new link to the London airport and the extra capacity on its Cardiff route, which is increasing to five times a week on a 737 jet.
