That figure became 251 yesterday following the sentencing of Dennis Godwin for horrific crimes against a 14-year-old girl. The Royal Court heard that Godwin raped the girl and videotaped himself doing it. He was jailed for 11 years. When Godwin is finally released from prison, his name will undoubtedly be put on the sex offenders register, which the police hope will be established soon, if States Members agree.
