UBS has taken the title of the best global private bank overall and tops the UK poll – but don’t merit a ranking in the CI table.
Deutsche are sixth in the global rankings – up from 12 last year.
And Royal Bank of Canada has won the accolade of best provider of trust services in the UK – although they are only rated sixth in the CI, with five providers – Ahli United Bank, Citigroup, JP Morgan, Lloyds TSB and Merrill Lynch – equal top of the table.
Although Deutsche has featured in the top end of the rankings in the Euromoney Channel Islands section since the listings started in 2003, this is the first time it has claimed top spot.
Second place went to ABN Amro with Fortis and Goldman Sachs joint third.
