He said he was honoured to have been elected and was looking forward to the job.

I am under no illusion that the role of Constable will be an easy one.’ He said that he planned to deal with a number of issues, including the recreation centre, the proposed new community centre and housing for the elderly.
Mr Butcher added that his door would always be open to parishioners.
