And there are plans for a fourth outside town at an undisclosed location.
The success of the first bar, in Voisins, run by the same company which operates the store’s Café des Artistes restaurant, prompted the Crush Juice Bars company to open another at the Spectrum Building in Gloucester Street four weeks ago.
The manager of all the outlets, Carlos Marcelo, said that trade at the new bar is ‘very good considering it’s not summer yet’.
Both bars serve juices made from fresh fruit and ‘smoothies’ – fruit juice and yoghurt – sandwiches, hot dishes and pastries based on the healthy-eating movement.
While the Voisins premises are governed largely by the store’s opening hours, the Gloucester Street outlet will open until 10 pm during the summer with an al fresco facility.
