Air Atlantique, using the operating name Atlantic Express, will operate twice daily low-cost scheduled services between Jersey and Stansted, starting on Saturday 3 June.

And Jersey is to get back its direct link to Zurich.

Atlantic Express are planning to start services in the summer with an announcement on dates to be made soon when arrangements have been firmed up.

The Stansted service will be a year-round operation with early morning and late afternoon flights.

It has been heralded as ‘wonderful news’ for both business and leisure travellers by Assistant Economic Development Minister Alan Maclean.
