Danny Flynn and Ollie Thompson netted for Wanderers but with just four divisional matches remaining Wanderers’ hopes of preventing Accies winning their first ever title still lies in the hands of other teams.

A competitive game resulted in some good football and fine goals from both sides, the pick a 25-yard shot from Wanderers’ Ciaran Cooper which struck the crossbar on its way into the goal.

Sporting Academics shot to the top of Division II on goal-difference above St Ouen after they thrashed Rozel Rovers 12-2 at Les Quennevais.
Ben Hall hit both for the Rovers with Accies on the mark through Alex Clarke (three), Nick Holmes (two), Chris Ward (two), Sam Meiklejohn (two), Nick House, Dan Poole and Ben Green.
Calum Dixon grabbed a hat-trick and Justin Jégou a single to steer St Ouen to a 4-2 success at St Clement.
The hosts registered through Tom Brockwell and George Camsell.
Grouville avenged a 4-1 defeat earlier in the season by winning 5-1 away to St Peter.
Jordan Brown hit a hat-trick and Daniel Hegarty a double for the victors with the hosts replying through Rory Topping.
Big crowds were treated to ten goals at the FB Fields as Jersey Wanderers and Trinity won through to the under-14 Brian Beckett Trophy final.
Wanderers won 3-1 against St Peter while Trinity required extra-time to defeat St Paul’s 4-2 after the teams were level at 2-2 after 70 minutes.
