The call has come from Crimestoppers, whose chairman says that the Island is being spoilt by a minority of mindless youngsters and gangs inflicting pain on others and behaving irresponsibly.
Steven Hunt is calling on Jersey’s youth to show that they do not approve of such actions by coming forward with information.
Mr Hunt’s comments come following the havoc caused by hooligans on Halloween, when houses and vehicles were targeted by gangs of up to 50 youngsters throwing eggs and fireworks.
