The 28-year-old had to be cut from his red BMW, which crashed into a tree after travelling 150-foot from the edge of the car park.
‘The car came in at high speed and took off over the side, then wedged into a tree,’ Fire Service station officer Clive Russell said.
The emergency services received a 999 call about the incident at 8.46 am, although Ambulance Service station officer John Sutherland said they thought the car had been there since about 6 am.
