Despite numerous assurances from the operator that sailings are getting back to normal, Condor Express still has a fault with one of its engines that has forced it to run on reduced power for the last three weeks.
Last night’s arrival from the UK was delayed by three and a half hours and Condor has now been forced to take the troubled ship out of service this evening and cover its sailings with other ships.
Today’s 8.35 pm sailing to Guernsey and Weymouth has been cancelled and all passengers are being rebooked on the 9 pm direct sailing to Poole, which uses the Express’s sister ship Condor Vitesse, or the overnight Commodore Clipper sailing to Portsmouth, which departs at 9.30 pm.
