Hess Natur is a leading clothing brand and also the world’s largest mail order firm for ecological textiles.
The company distributes more than 15 million, 300-page catalogues twice a year to German, French, Austrian and Swiss customers and all 300 pages of next year’s Spring/Summer catalogue are being shot on location in Jersey over the next month.
The company has two photographic shoots taking place in Jersey.
The first crew of 22 models, photographers, assistants, stylists and art directors arrived from Germany, the United States and Italy last week and the second arrives on 18 September.
The project is being co-ordinated by Jersey-based film location manager, Isabella Kaliff-Lewis, who has recently completed location management work for the film Being Julia and another clothing catalogue shoot for Henry Lloyd sailing wear.
‘Once again, Jersey has been identified as a perfect location for both film and photographic projects because of its ease of accessibility and vast range of scenery,’ she said.
‘Hess Natur profiles the locations they work with extensively in the catalogue and this is a perfect opportunity to present Jersey to Hess Natur customers who will also be potential visitors to the Island.
