Last year, Royal Bank of Canada Trust was named as the International Trust Corporation of the Year, but this year the trust category has been divided into independent and institutional trustees.
Channel House, Mourant Private Wealth, and Walbrook Trustees have been placed on the shortlist for independent trustee of the Year and RBC, Barclays Private Bank and Trust, HSBC Private Bank and Ansbacher are on the institutional shortlist.
Jersey lawyers Bedell Cristin are shortlisted in the offshore adviser of the year category.
The High Nets, launched last year, recognise the best UK and offshore-based companies and advisers in the private client industry.
Jersey lawyer Jonathan White, chairman of the Ogier Group, is on the panel of judges.
The finalists will be announced on Tuesday 11 October.
