Their scheduled fixture was against Bournemouth Schools – but they were unable to find a pitch, Jersey’s manager Paul Dicker reported.
So Redbridge have stepped into the gap.
On Saturday morning they will face Bournemouth Academy before watching the Reading versus Plymouth Coca Cola Championship match in the afternoon.
‘We’re clear of injuries and we’re all set,’ said Dicker.
‘I’ll be looking for some solid defensive performances.
We expect both teams to be strong and have some quality and it’s going to be a tough test for us.
‘We play Bournemouth on Saturday and I expect that to be the hardest match – they’ll be well-organised just like Guernsey.
‘I’m looking to choose the Star Trophy team on the basis of this tour.’ The Trophy clash is on 12 March in Guernsey.
Tour squad: Max Jouan, Tim Cupit (Grainville), Jordan McBride, James Quérée, Dane Sutton (Les Quennevais), Chris Mourant (Vic College), Rory de la Haye, Jack Boyle, Aaron Scott, Daniel Ratcliffe (Haute Vallée), Stephan Phelan, Liam Walker, Michael Weir, Alex Gee (De La Salle), Declan Sowney, Adam Lester (Hautlieu).
