Magistrate’s warning on public order crime

The Magistrate said he became aware of that situation earlier this year and it has now been set right.

‘The only people involved in public order offences who should be cautioned are first offenders who have committed only minor infractions,’ he said.

Mr Le Marquand has welcomed the crackdown called for by Attorney General William Bailhache on violence and disorder associated with drunkenness.
