Mr Crowcroft was re-elected unopposed at the Town Hall last night after being proposed by former Senator Christopher Lakeman and seconded by Deputy Ben Fox.
Around 45 people were in the Assembly Room as Mr Lakeman said that Mr Crowcroft had shown by his track record that he had listened to ratepayers’ concerns about parish expenditure and had made necessary cuts.
He had also looked for more efficient ways of providing services and saving money.
Since he had been in office a new management structure had been put in place with directors and he chaired a management board every fortnight.
