The event was sponsored by Barclays and took place at the Guernsey Indoor Tennis Centre on Sunday.
Christopher Dixon and Dominica Taylor won gold medals at the event, in which the top four boys and girls from each Island played each other.The contestants, who had won through their Island tournaments out of 100 children the fortnight before, each took home a medal.Both competitions went to the wire, with Dominica just beating Jersey’s Gemima Le Sueur and Emily Bain, with home player Katherine Jensen coming in fourth place.In the boys’ event Christopher and Nicolai Hansen tussled for first place, with Christopher just edging ahead.
All the Jersey players finished in the top four, with Paul Hickling and Rhys Taylor also coming in the top positions.
