The eight yachts in the round-the-world race motored under sail from New York to Halifax over the weekend to avoid Hurricane Fabian, which hit Bermuda on Friday night.With the hurricane now moving east, the fleet should have fair passage to Jersey, and if the yachts leave Halifax on time today they should arrive in St Helier on Monday 22 September.
