The Channel Television reporter swam the 21-mile stretch in 20 hours and 30 minutes, landing at Wassant, France, at 4.30 am on Sunday.Allowed to wear only goggles, a hat and some fat to cover his body, the 38-year-old set off from Shakespeare Cliff, Dover, at 8 am on Saturday morning, landing on the French shore on the anniversary of the first cross-Channel swim.
