St Ouen Constable in for a fourth term

News | Published:

THE Constable of St Ouen, Ken Vibert, was re-elected unopposed for a fourth term last night.

In his acceptance speech he warned about the traffic dangers at Plémont Bay.'It is a serious accident waiting to happen,' he told parishioners.

'And I give warning that the parish is not prepared to let this happen.'The popularity of this beach and the lack of parking facilities means that both locals and tourists alike are using the already small roads for parking,' he said.

'No one seems to realise that should an incident occur, the emergency services would be unable to get there and they are putting lives at risk by parking indiscriminately.
