A 12th person has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a man in Merseyside last month.
Rikki Berry, 36, died in hospital after being shot on Quarryside Drive in Kirkby on July 17.
Merseyside Police said a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of a firearm on August 6.
He is the 12th person arrested in connection with the investigation, police said.
Another man, Adam Williams, was charged with murder on July 26, and will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court in November.
Emergency services rushed to the Quarryside Drive address just after 6.35pm on Wednesday, July 17 after receiving reports a man had been shot.
North West Ambulance Service paramedics treated Mr Berry at the scene and transported him to hospital, but he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Following the incident, Detective Superintendent Mark Drew said Mr Berry had lost his life in an “appalling and tragic” incident.
“There is no room for guns on the streets of Merseyside and we will do everything within our power to ensure those responsible are brought to justice,” he said at the time.
“My message to those involved in gun crime and serious organised crime is clear – Merseyside Police will never rest, we are relentless in our pursuit of those involved.
“I completely understand that speaking up could be daunting, but when people are willing to support the police we will ensure every possible avenue is progressed to protect them.”
Merseyside Police said investigations were ongoing.
