German lorry in 1964 (37397170)

A GERMAN lorry left the Island on Friday 17 January 1964 by mailboat, which was the only German lorry left behind by the Occupation forces and was still in its original state. It was found by Mr M J Boucherie of 1, Clos du Roncier, St Clement, in a back yard in the early 60s. He spent the time since restoring it, including the camouflage. It was shipped to a private museum in Dorset.
