A “COMMUNITY fun day” in support of fertility charity Tiny Seeds will be returning at the weekend.
Held on Saturday 23 August from midday to 6pm, Shine Bright will take place at Glebe Field and Trinity Parish Hall & Community Centre and promises an “inclusive and lively atmosphere” for all ages.
Among the family-friendly attractions will be bouncy castles and soft play areas courtesy of The Party Crew, live music from Tom Rolls and The Riffs and food from Slice Jersey, as well as a raffle, stalls, flower crown making and the “human slot machine”.
The event is sponsored by The Party Crew and supported by the Parish of Trinity, Jersey Sun Sails and SGB Hire.
Chloe Fosse is the charity operations manager and governor of Tiny Seeds and said: “Last year over 450 people came to the Shine Bright event and raised nearly £4,500 for Tiny Seeds. This year we’re excited to make the event even bigger and better. Demand for Tiny Seeds services continues to grow year on year and Shine Bright has become a flagship community event for us.”
A Jersey-based charity, Tiny Seeds is dedicated to raising awareness and providing essential support for individuals and couples who are facing fertility challenges. All ticket proceeds from Shine Bright will go towards helping the Tiny Seeds team to provide practical and emotional support, vital educational resources and awareness initiatives.
Ticket prices are £6 for adults and children aged 15 and over, £11 for children aged one to 14, and free for babes in arms. Children’s tickets include unlimited access to all inflatables and activities. Attendees are encouraged to dress brightly and to bring a picnic or enjoy the onsite food and drinks.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone to join in the fun,” added Chloe.
