LEADERSHIP Jersey has launched an initiative to celebrate the Island’s future leaders.

101 Future Leaders, supported by All Island Media, will showcase the next generation of talent and their potential to drive change, lead by example and shape Jersey’s future.

Leadership Jersey aims to raise awareness of leadership as an essential quality. The organisation offers a series of events and publications designed to inspire and promote the topic, and also provides practical support and motivation for current and future leaders.

It is now encouraging nominations from all industries, sectors and organisations and hopes to give Islanders the opportunity to recognise and elevate those who are set to make a significant difference in their field, workplace or beyond.

The final nominees will feature in the 101 Future Leaders publication, produced by All Island Media, a book which will share interviews, personal stories and insights from the selected nominees, and give them a platform to share their visions for the future.

An event will follow to celebrate the future leaders and mark the tenth anniversary of Leadership Jersey. There, Islanders will have the opportunity to hear from some of the nominees.

Kevin Keen, co-founder of Leadership Jersey, said: “This is an important initiative to recognise future leaders in our island and I can’t wait to see who has been nominated. The future of our island is likely to be in their hands. What could be more important than that?”

Giorgina Lister, digital marketing manager at All Island Media, said: “We are incredibly proud to support Leadership Jersey’s Future Leaders initiative, which is a natural extension of our ongoing collaboration with Leadership Jersey.

“This initiative will shine a light on the next generation of leaders, nurturing their potential and empowering them to shape the future of Jersey. At All Island Media, we believe that strong leadership is key to community growth and success, and we hope this initiative will foster innovation and excellence across the Island.”

Nominations are open from now until Friday 20 September, with the 101 Future Leaders publication due to be published in late November. The event will take place in March next year.
