AFTER a brief mid-season break, the Jersey Bulls women are set to return to action tomorrow with an away trip to South Park (Reigate) in the newly formed Surrey Division 1 Group A.
The league split came after 11 games of the initial season format, with the top six teams progressing into Group A and the remaining six forming Group B.
The Bulls, having stormed to the top of Surrey Division 1 with a perfect 11 wins from 11, comfortably secured their place among the top group and are strong favourites for promotion.
The top two sides from Group A will achieve promotion at the end of the campaign.
In the previous league phase, the Bulls handed South Park a thumping 9-3 defeat at Springfield Stadium, with Leah Morris netting a hat-trick in a dominant display. South Park finished fourth overall in Surrey Division 1, securing six wins, one draw, and suffering four defeats.

The Bulls’ attacking fire-power remains a major talking point. Before the division split, Anita Tavares had amassed an incredible 30 goals and 25 assists in 12 games, while Morris contributed 17 goals and 10 assists, and captain Holly Sundby added 16 goals and 14 assists in just 10 appearances.
The team racked up a staggering 71 goals and conceded only eight across the league format, with just two goals conceded away from home.
Manager Chad Morris is confident heading into the new phase of the season. “The group is really excited to get back into action,” he said. “We used the break to ensure we had a good rest and recovery period, which was important for some players who were carrying little knocks.
“In that time though, they’ve all been playing local club football which is great. There is no rust in the group, everyone is fully fit and raring to get back to it and keep our form going and hopefully secure promotion.”
Tomorrow’s clash promises to be a stern test for South Park, but with the Bulls’ scoring prowess and unbeaten momentum, Jersey supporters will be hoping for another emphatic display on the road.
Action from King George’s Field, Reigate, is scheduled tomorrow for a 2pm kick off.
