Under the proposals, which can be viewed online and at the Planning offices at South Hill, the current arrivals hall, which dates from 1937, would be demolished and moved to the ground floor of the departures terminal.
A new mezzanine floor would be created above that to house Airport security and a retail, food and lounge area.
