Condor Ferries becoming more reliable, according to new figures

A total of 97.5 per cent of sailings operated and 91 per cent arrived within 30 minutes of the scheduled time.

This compares to 95.1 per cent and 90.6 per cent respectively for February. Passengers rated Condor 8.7 out of ten for staff helpfulness, compared to 8.5 in February, and 6.8 out of ten for overall satisfaction – the same as in the previous month.

Paul Luxon, Condor’s chief executive, said the figures show the continued resilience of the company’s services.

‘By making this information publicly available each month, I am keen for everyone to recognise the improvements in our reliability and punctuality over the past year and a half.

‘It is also very encouraging that our visitor bookings are ahead of last year so I remain optimistic for a busy season in the islands.’
