The annual list, which documents the 1,000 wealthiest people and families in the UK, features 14 Islanders with BHS tycoon Sir Philip Green, along with his wife Lady Green, placing 41st overall with a £2.787 billion fortune.
Jersey’s only other billionaire was moneysupermarket.com founder Simon Nixon, whose wealth of £1.176 billion placed him at 112th on the list – nine places below Lord Alan Sugar.
The Island’s highest new entry on the list is Brecon sheep farmer turned city financier Richard Griffiths who was placed at joint 623rd with a £180 million fortune.
