Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton was welcomed by a packed Royal Court as he delivered his first public address as the Queen’s representative in Jersey
Welcoming Sir Stephen and his wife, Anne, to the Island, the Bailiff, William Bailhache, said that the swearing in of a new Lieutenant-Governor was ‘a wonderful Jersey occasion’.
He added that Sir Stephen and Lady Dalton will become ‘very much part of the fabric of Jersey life’.
